Cupuaçu is one of the most Popular Fruit in the Sate of Pará and Belém. It is found mostly in the Amazon Region. Its name come from the indian Language and it means "Big Cocoa". Its pulp is yelow and taste very sour and acid. It is excelent for the food industry and it makes good Ice Creams, candy, jelly, mousses, pudim, juices, chocolate and so on.

The Natural Tree reaches up to 20 or 30m height, but when planted it reaches only 5 m. After planted, the fruits blossom after the 3rd year.
